As a small charity with a big heart, we need your help. ThickSkin is committed to supporting young people and early-career artists through education, training and employment in the arts. We work hard to reach new audiences through our work and especially young people who have less opportunities to access the arts. We rely on the vital support of donors and philanthropists to affect real change and create a platform for new voices in theatre.
If you are able to support ThickSkin’s work by making a donation as a patron, trust or company, your gift will make a considerable and immediate difference.

Patron Support
As a small charity we need to raise £100,000 each year in addition to our ticket sales and Arts Council England subsidy. Our individual supporters play an important role in helping us create bold and ambitious theatre; reaching and inspiring young, new and representative audiences through our distinctive physicality and cinematic style. With your generous support, we also nurture talent across all areas of theatre-making, providing a springboard for artists who are ready to take a leap. From our base in Manchester we reach people across the world and give a voice to those who often remain unheard.
We are so proud to have launch the career of artists such as Brian Vernel, Joanne Thomson and Jonnie Riordan. Please support ThickSkin and help us continue our vital work in the North West and around the UK by giving regularly using one of the options below or making a one-off donation. We can’t do it without you.

Donations
Donations of any size can make a big difference to our programme and have a strong impact. Why not consider setting up a regular monthly donation at any level you can afford. Here are some suggestions:
£25 – With this gift you can pay for a young performer to attend our open auditions.
£50 – This will enable us to give away 5 free tickets to young people who have limited access to theatre shows.
£75 – This gift will enable a young artist to take part in a masterclass run by our Artistic Director
£100 – This donation will pay for a creative workshop session in a school where pupils have limited access to the arts.

We hope we can thank you in person for your generous gift and look forward to welcoming you to our special events.

Commissioning Circle
Be a part of making it happen. If you believe in the transformative power of the arts and share our vision for a new generation of artists and audience inspired by epic theatre, then consider joining our Commissioning Circle. Through an annual payment you will support the development and staging of original work. In return for your support, you will be acknowledged in the production’s programme and on our website, invited to join us for an afternoon in rehearsals, receive two complimentary tickets to each new production and have the opportunity to meet with members of the company.
