Laura Mallows

Laura Mallows is co-founder and Executive Director of ThickSkin. As Executive Producer for ThickSkin, productions include: Shade; Walk This Play; Petrichor; How Not To Drown; and Chalk Farm. As Producer: The Static and Blackout.

Laura also works as an independent arts consultant, most recently with Metroland Cultures, Lawrence Batley Theatre, Common Wealth and The Knotted Project.

She was Associate Producer for Beautiful Burnout (Frantic Assembly / National Theatre of Scotland) and supported Frantic Assembly’s productions of Pool (no water), Stockholm and Othello in the role of General Manager. She designed and launched Frantic Assembly’s celebrated Ignition training programme in 2008.

Laura was Head of Finance & Business at Clean Break and a Director of Clean Break Productions. She has also worked for Fifty Nine Productions, Hofesh Schechter Company, Manchester International Festival, Royal Opera House, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs and the Touring Consortium.

Laura is a trustee of Lawrence Batley Theatre, a member of the advisory group for Emmerson & Ward, and a volunteer for Urmston Meadowside FC.
